A Bit About Me:

I’m Gemma, I’m 24 and I’m from Cork. And I did Film Studies in college and pretty much talk about film non-stop so it really was time I started blogging about it. Aswell as writing movie reviews I also thought it would be a good idea to report on the film-making that takes place around Cork and the rest of Ireland. So far it’s just been Cork but that’s a start anyway! I endeavour to make short films with my friends too and talking to the various people I have met along the way has given me ideas for The Stub…

And a bit about the site:

The Stub first appeared in August 2007. But only really got off the ground in January 2008. The Stub aims to:

Provide you with movie reviews as written by myself and other contributors.

Report on film-making within Cork (and other parts of Ireland). Please let me know if you have a short film in the works.

And finally, post up the latest auditions. There’s a lot of budding actors in Cork and they want to hear about every opportunity.

    laced!?what?I beg your pardon if it were sarcastic I would be insinuating that *cough, Ms. Riordan and her minions are, in fact, not classy and a rather shabby bunch.
