Open Auditions in Cork for film ‘My Brothers’

Word has already flown around about this but in case you haven’t heard, open auditions are taking place at the Cork Arts Theatre on Friday July 3rd, from 10am to 5pm, for the upcoming movie, My Brothers, as written by Cork-based writer Will Collins and produced by Treasure Films. This time round, the auditions are limited somewhat to young males as the role to be filled is that of a 17 year old boy. Acting experience is not necessary, and no other roles are to be cast at this event. Auditions have already taken place today also, July 2nd.

My Brothers  is a drama set in the 1980s, about three young brothers who are desperately trying to cope with their father’s impending death. The producers. Treasure Films, were also involved in the The Eclipse which was recently shot in Cobh. The movie is to be directed by Paul Fraser, whose own writing credits include Somers Town and A Room for Romeo Brass.
